Things You Should Know When Choosing A Contractor
Your Contractor’s Record
Down Payments or Deposits
- You should think twice if you are required to make a down payment
- Why is the contractor asking for money if they have not provided products and or services?
- Is the contractor credit worthy with their suppliers or are they on cash accounts?
- Is the contractor so worried that you will back out of the deal, they bind you with a deposit?
Ask If The Contractor Has Ever Changed Their Company’s Name
In Arizona a company can reincorporate under a new name without their record with the BBB and ROC following them or being linked to the new name. (Search ROC website by owners name)
